Waiting for the time to fall slowly等待時間慢慢落下 | 2023

Installation

The movement of the wind, and the activities of small animals on the tree, prompt the fall of fruits, branches, and leaves. Inspired by the natural experience, the idea emerged to utilize the kinetic energy of falling objects to create sound from the small elements of nature, extending the perception of falling time. Through interactive installations, the aim is to foster a relationship between the audience and a more nuanced sensory experience. For instance, observing fruits, and small stones, and tossing them into the installation to listen to the sounds such as shells, metal pieces, bells, and bamboo, or patiently waiting for the gentle movements of nature and the slow descent of time.

風的吹動、小動物的活動，促使落下果實、樹枝、葉子，受其自然體驗的啟發，開始構思藉由落下的動能，讓自然小物產生聲響、讓落下的時間有其延長之可能，以及希望透過裝置作品，促使觀眾產生互動關係與更細膩的體感經驗，像是觀察果實、小石子等物，並將其丟入裝置之中聆聽聲響，敲擊貝殻、鐵件、鈴鐺、竹筒，又或者靜靜的等待自然的風吹草動、等待時間慢慢落下。
